These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Meld, provided by Launch Soft solutions f.z llc. By creating an account or using Meld, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Meld service

Meld helps you capture information, turn it into searchable knowledge, connect related ideas, and ask questions about your own saved material. Features may change, be limited by your plan, or be unavailable during maintenance or a beta release.

Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your sign-in methods, and promptly reporting unauthorized access. One person may not use the service to impersonate another person or bypass plan, workspace, or security controls.

Your content

You retain your rights in the text, files, recordings, links, and other content you submit. You grant Meld the limited permission to host, reproduce, transform, index, analyze, and display that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and operate the features you request. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to capture and process the content you submit.

AI features and user responsibility

Meld uses automated systems to organize content and generate answers, summaries, suggestions, and other output. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation. It is not professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. Check important facts and decisions yourself. Meld proposes actions for your review; you remain responsible for approving actions and for the results of anything you choose to do.

Acceptable use

You must not use Meld to violate law or another person’s rights; upload malicious code; attempt unauthorized access; probe, disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the service; interfere with another workspace; evade quotas or billing; or submit content that you are not allowed to process. We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

Third-party services

Meld depends on third-party services for hosting, authentication, AI processing, email, search embeddings, and optional billing or integrations. Their services may have separate terms and privacy policies. Meld is not responsible for third-party outages or changes outside its reasonable control.

Subscriptions and billing

Some Meld features may require a paid plan. Prices, taxes, renewal terms, and applicable cancellation rules are shown before purchase. Web subscriptions are processed through Stripe; mobile subscriptions, if offered, are processed through the applicable app store or RevenueCat. Cancel through the provider used for purchase. Cancellation generally stops future renewal but does not itself delete your account or previously stored content.

Beta availability

Meld may be offered as an invite-only or beta service. Beta features may contain defects, change without notice, or be withdrawn. Do not rely on Meld as your only copy of important information; maintain appropriate backups using the export tools provided.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Meld and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, security or abuse concerns, nonpayment, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Terms that should reasonably continue after termination will survive, including provisions concerning content rights, disclaimers, limitations, and disputes.

Disclaimers

Meld is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. You use AI output and stored content at your own judgment and risk.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version will be posted at this URL with its effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
